Cao Cao personally consents to the three conditions which Guan Yu has posed. Then Guan Yu and his two sisters-in-law [Liu Bei’s wives] follow Cao Cao back to Xuchang. The Emperor confers on Guan Yu the title adjutant general. Cao Cao holds several banquets for Guan Yu. However, Guan Yu is never happy.
